Eligible are: MD, MSc, or PhD students or post-docs at an early stage of their career (within 5 years after receipt of their MD or PhD degree by the next meeting).
Special consideration will be given to the originality of the approach and independence of thought evident in the submission.
Potential applicants have two possibilities for submissions:
Either an already published manuscript (the manuscript must be accepted) as first or co-firstauthor. The publication date should be within the last 12 months
Or: preliminary results which should be organized as manuscript:
– Title page, abstract, introduction, methods, preliminary results, discussion, references. Max length: 5-10 single spaced pages (Font 11-12), including figures and references.
A short CV (max 3 pages) and a letter of motivation by the applicant
A letter of support by the senior investigator/mentor is mandatory. The senior author should indicate in an accompanying letter the degree of independence represented by the candidate’s contribution.
Candidates need not be current members of the Society for Light Treatment and Biological Rhythms, but should join the SLTBR before the meeting.
