The Curriculum Program in Chronotherapy and Chronomedicine (CPCC) is an online certificate program by SLRCH in collaboration with the Center for Environmental Therapeutics (CET).
To stay up-to-date with the current developments of the course, please register your interest here.
The course will be fully online and run from Fall/Winter to Spring every year with a final exam at the annual SLRCH meeting in June.
We include 2 tracks to suit our diverse audience:
1. Open track (course access open to everyone)
2. Clinical track (course access, exam, certificate: for those with clinical credentials)
Program aims:
- provide participants with the opportunity to complete a training program in chronotherapy and chronomedicine certified by SLRCH
- for those with clinical credentials, possibility to obtain a certificate of expertise in chronotherapy and chronomedicine after passing a final exam during SLRCH annual meeting
By the end of the course, participants will:
1. Have a working knowledge of fundamental circadian biology, including major anatomical structures and genetic factors influencing circadian rhythms
2. Gain insight into translational approaches that bridge basic circadian research with clinical applications, including biomarker development, therapeutic timing, chronopharmacology and light-based interventions
3. Understand how to apply chronotherapy to treat circadian rhythm, psychiatric, and neurological disorders, as well as appreciate the opportunities for circadian medicine in clinical practice broadly
