We are saddened to share that Dr. Jacqueline M. Lane passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 45, after a courageous three-year journey with cancer. Many will remember her inspiring presence and eloquent contributions at our June 2025 SLRCH meeting in Boston.

Dr. Lane was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, an Associate Geneticist in the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a member of the Broad Institute’s Medical and Population Genetics Program. Her groundbreaking research on the genetics of sleep and circadian rhythms has left a lasting impact on our field and will continue to inspire future discoveries.
